linda pedersen & henning hamilton | toast skagen 10 Jan - 1 Feb
The gallery is transformed into a narrative environment with the boy Toast Skagen at the center. Fish roe farming and racing are his great passions. His care for the fish is great, as is his neglect. The works in the exhibition are largely sewn together, patched, welded and carved from found and recycled materials such as papier mache, metal, wood, plastic, fiberglass, fabric, paper, foil, cardboard, concrete, etc.

LINDA PEDERSEN | HENNING HAMILTON
Linda Pedersen (b. 1987 Gothenburg) and Henning Hamilton (b. 1987, Gothenburg) live in the countryside of Östergötland where they have been working as a duo since 2020, in parallel with their own artistic careers. Pedersen has a bachelor's degree from Konstfack in Stockholm and is also educated at Camberwell College of Art in London and at Tokyo Zokei University. Hamilton studied at the Gothenburg Art School but is otherwise self-taught. In their individual artistic careers, Pedersen works mainly with representational sculpture while Hamilton makes assemblages of objects from his immediate surroundings. In their joint artistic careers, they create sculptures and installations, their individual practices are mixed together into one. They like to start from found objects whose expression they both amplify and distort. Linda Pedersen & Henning Hamilton are represented by Issues Gallery, Stockholm. Previous solo exhibitions include Avd. äpplet, Issues Gallery, Stockholm (2025). Stjärnornas krig, Market artfair with Issues gallery, Stockholm (2023). My Melody, Norberg Festival, Norberg (2022). Jailhouse rock, Arsenalgatan 3 Stockholm (2020)
GALLERY HAMMARÉN
ida-lovisa rudolfsson | sammelsurinum 10 jan - 31 jan
A hodgepodge, a flow, a disorder, a mishmash – like a skein of questions, colours, memories, encounters and human destinies. From this tangle of messy fabric, Ida-Lovisa Rudolfsson picks up the threads. One by one, slowly they are sewn together – chain stitch, flat stitch, bedspread stitch – and joined together on inherited sheets so that together they form new images and stories. So that the hodgepodge can become comprehensible and endure.

lillhagen in color | until 12 Apr
Lillhagen Hospital provided psychiatric care in Gothenburg from 1932 to 2013. In the 1960s, a renowned study program was started that offered patients a wide range of creative courses. A sanctuary was created here where patients could be themselves and develop. Using pastels, brushes and clay, they created unique works of art that provide a different perspective on the institution.
The course activities resulted in a large number of unique works of art – everything from pencil drawings and intricate pastel patterns to expressive oil paintings and ceramic sculptures. During the 1970s and 80s, the works were exhibited and sold to both private individuals and institutions.
