Maria Larkman's art is about love, passion and desire. Inspired by films, music and theatre, she creates dreamlike artworks. Cities like Lisbon, Barcelona and Nice have inspired urban motifs, but recently in Stockholm she has turned her attention to her own city and begun to explore the familiar neighborhoods.
Maria has her own style and technique called Lacollage. It is a mixed technique between photography, painting and varnish on canvas. She has been artistically active with exhibitions since 2002 both in Sweden and abroad.
