About Olga Semenova

Olga Semenova b. 1953, studied at the Serov Art School, St. Petersburg 1970-1974 and at the Stiglitz Academy of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg 1975-1978.
Olga often depicts women, slightly enigmatic, in an environment that draws inspiration from literature, theater and film. Her sense of composition, color palette and style have developed from her love of post-impressionism. An artist who masters both oil and watercolor, unafraid to express herself artistically in both landscape painting, still life and portraiture.
